Thin sole recovery and hormonal balance - Jennie's Aminos

Thin sole recovery and hormonal balance

Since adding Jennie’s Aminos, my farrier can take some sole off during trimming/shoeing. Miss Mare used to have such thin soles, you could depress them with just your thumb! She was starting to show lameness issues in deeply footed arenas, as I discovered at a horse show when she trotted out sound on flat ground, but could barely walk in the sand arenas at Rancho Murieta. It took some time, since feet are the last thing to show improvement when changing supplements, but now her soles are as good as the next horse. She no longer needs pads and remains sound no matter the footing.
Another improvement, of many, was her hormones. Miss Mare was anything but ‘mareish’… many people thought she was a gelding! With her calm, charming personality and never showing signs of estrus, who would be the wiser? She also had a pouch of fat right in front of her udder that REALLY gave her the appearance of a gelding! No matter how much weight she lost, how much her workload was increased, she always had a fat deposit in front of her udder. Since being on Jennie’s Aminos, her fatty deposit has continued to decrease with no extra exercise or other changes to her diet. She now cycles normally as the other mares do, but is still as sweet as can be. The longer she’s on the aminos, the more benefits I see. She will be on them for life 💕
